LeoVegas and Blackpool endorse Safer Gambling Week.

The Blackpool Football Club will be supporting Safer Gambling Week on Saturday when it plays Shrewsbury Town in League One. The club and its partner, LeoVegas, will be doing so. 

During Saturday's game, the standard LeoVegas branding that is seen on Blackpool's shirts will be swapped out with important slogans and logos related to Safer Gambling Week. 

Safer Gambling Week, which began on Monday, November 13 and ends this Sunday, has seen coordinated efforts to promote responsible gaming by regulators, the government, and the gaming sector. 

"The only club across the EFL showcasing the safer gambling messaging on their front of shirts this weekend," according to Blackpool, is what the team has declared. 

Sam Behar, Group Director of LeoVegas for the UK and Ireland, stated: "At LeoVegas, responsible gambling is key to what we have to offer.  

"We are immensely proud to partner with Blackpool and to make sure that all supporters are aware of the variety of resources available to us in order to guarantee that our players perform in a safe manner.  

"Safer Gambling event is a significant occasion of the year, and as such, it was imperative to us at LeoVegas that we update our logo on the front of shirts to commemorate the event. We appreciate Blackpool's continued support this week and the way they help us spread the word about our dedication to safe gambling."
