Sportradar has made public the specifics of several initiatives it is doing to simplify its operations.
Six distinct divisions will be run by the corporation starting immediately.
Warren Murphy will lead Product Delivery and Operations; Nick Maywald will lead Growth and Innovation; Eduard Blonk will lead Commercial; Lynn McCreary will lead Legal, Risk, and Administrative Services; Severine Riviere-Gerstner will lead People; and Gerard Gryphon will lead Finance.
"I am excited to announce this new global organisation and leadership structure," Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl said. "It promotes agile execution, aligns our teams on our strategic priorities, and better positions Sportradar for future growth."
"By centralising our core business operations, we will promote improved communication and quicker decision-making, which will allow us to increase operational efficiency and stimulate innovation throughout our company.
"By taking these decisive actions, we will be able to better serve our partners and clients and seize the substantial market opportunities that lie ahead of us."
Sportradar anticipates that these adjustments will enhance product innovation, business expansion, profitability, and shareholder value.
"We have the right leaders in place, intently focused on executing on our strategic priorities," Koerl went on.
"We are well-positioned to carry over this momentum into 2024, and we are on track to meet our robust growth targets for 2023."
Ulrich Harmuth, the CSO, and Gerard Gryphon, the CFO, will be departing the company as a result of this restructuring.
"I want to thank Ger for his contributions to Sportradar," Koerl said in closing.
With a broad and strong bench that will support the company going forward as we strive to propel growth and profitability, he has significantly bolstered our finance team.
"I would also like to express my gratitude to Ulrich for his contributions to Sportradar, our clients, and partners, which have set the company up for long-term success."
Sportradar recently unveiled its new FanID marketing solution, which generates sports fan data without the need of third-party cookies, in other business areas.
